Teen walks into hospital with gunshot wound as West Baltimore shooting probed
Baltimore, MD — An 18-year-old man showed up at a hospital with a gunshot wound Wednesday afternoon, leading investigators to trace the shooting back to a West Baltimore street.
Officers responded around 3:30 p.m. to a hospital for a walk-in shooting victim seeking treatment. Upon arrival, they located the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the hand.
Police said the victim is listed in stable condition.
Preliminary findings indicate the shooting occurred in the 800 block of North Calhoun Street, though details about what led up to the incident have not been released.
