Lucky lottery ticket in Tioga County lands jackpot worth more than $560K
BLOSSBURG BORO, Pa. — A Pennsylvania Lottery player is holding a jackpot-winning Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket worth more than $560,000 after matching all five numbers in Thursday night’s drawing.
Lottery officials said the winning ticket matched the numbers 4, 11, 18, 23 and 32 in the May 14 drawing to capture a jackpot prize worth $560,087 before applicable tax withholdings.
The ticket was sold at Kwik Fill, located at 210 Main St. in Blossburg Boro, Tioga County.
The retailer will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.
Pennsylvania Lottery officials said winners are not identified until prizes are officially claimed and tickets are validated.
Players holding the winning ticket have one year from the drawing date to claim the main Cash 5 prize.
Lottery officials said more than 13,800 additional Cash 5 with Quick Cash tickets also won prizes during the drawing.
Players were encouraged to check all tickets carefully and claim lower-tier prizes at authorized lottery retailers.
