Comedian Adam Sank Bringing Award-Winning Pride Month Show to Cape May

“Bad Dates: A One-Man Show About Many Men” arrives June 6 before comedian heads to Jersey Pride Festival

Nationally recognized comedian Adam Sank will return to Cape May next month for a one-night-only Pride Month performance of his award-winning comedy show “Bad Dates: A One-Man Show About Many Men.”

The adults-only performance is scheduled for June 6 at the Clemans Theater for the Arts at the Allen AME Church in Cape May as part of programming presented by East Lynne Theater Company.

Sank, known for appearances on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing,” VH1’s “I Love the 2000s,” and the “Today Show,” describes the production as a comedic look at one gay man’s decades-long search for love.

BroadwayWorld.com previously called the show “queer comedy gold.”

The Cape May performance marks the New Jersey debut of “Bad Dates,” which has earned attention on the comedy and LGBTQ entertainment circuit for its mix of stand-up storytelling, relationship humor, and personal experiences.

Following the Cape May performance, Sank is scheduled to head north to Asbury Park, where he will emcee the annual Jersey Pride Festival.

The June 6 performance is intended for adult audiences.

Cape May has increasingly expanded its Pride-related programming in recent years, with performances, festivals, and LGBTQ-focused cultural events drawing visitors throughout the region during June.
