TOMS RIVER, NJ— The Toms River mobile home park Friendly Village was not so friendly on Tuesday.
At approximately 4:05 PM, Toms River Police were dispatched to Camino Medio following reports of gunshots. A male victim reported that while biking through the Friendly Village development, he was shot at by a known juvenile.
Although the victim was unharmed, some rounds struck nearby houses.
The Ocean County CSI Unit was called to the scene to document and gather evidence. The juvenile suspect was identified, wearing a white shirt, and complaints for Attempted Murder and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon have been filed.
Authorities are seeking assistance to identify another individual wearing a black shirt and a silver vehicle connected to the incident. The investigation continues, and anyone with information is urged to contact Detective Mastronardy at 732-349-0150 X1346.
