Toms River, NJ – The Pleasant Plains Fire Department swiftly responded to a fire report at the North Pointe Hollow condominium complex early Sunday. The situation quickly advanced to a structure fire discovered in a first-floor unit bathroom.

Multiple fire companies worked for around two hours to contain the blaze within the unit, overcoming challenges posed by hoarding/storage conditions. Toms River Bureau of Fire Prevention officers Carlin and Herbst are investigating the fire’s cause, with initial reports pointing to an accidental origin involving a small electronic device charging in the bathroom.
