Two Injured After Motorcycle Crash in South Jersey

Gloucester Township, NJ -x Gloucester Township Police responded to a serious motor vehicle crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV on Monday night. The crash, which occurred at around 11:01 pm on Woodbury Turnersville Rd., resulted in severe injuries to the driver and passenger of the motorcycle after they were thrown from the vehicle upon impact with the SUV.

According to reports, the motorcycle, carrying two occupants, collided with an SUV in front of number 425 on Woodbury Turnersville Rd. Despite efforts by officers and emergency responders to stabilize the victims at the scene, they were later transported to Cooper Hospital Trauma due to the serious nature of their injuries.

The investigation conducted by the Gloucester Township Police Serious Crash Investigation Team revealed that the motorcycle was traveling west when the SUV attempted a left turn in front of it, leading to the collision.

As summer approaches, the Gloucester Township Police Department emphasizes the importance of drivers being vigilant on the roads, especially with the increased presence of motorcycles, which can be challenging to spot. All involved parties remain unnamed at this time. The crash is currently under investigation, and no charges have been filed yet.
