Two Arrested for Retail Theft in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA – On Thursday, May 9, at approximately 5:06 p.m., a 9th District Officer responded to a report of retail theft at the Lululemon store located at 1720 Walnut Street. A passerby reported the incident.

The officer observed 28-year-old Alexis Salmon transferring clothing to the trunk of a white Chevy Malibu before entering the vehicle. When the officer intervened, Salmon fled on foot but was apprehended after a brief chase.

The driver, 29-year-old Marquise Baker from East Stella Street, was also arrested at the scene. Both Salmon and Baker are facing charges of Retail Theft and Criminal Conspiracy.
