BALTIMORE, MD – An Olney woman recently claimed a $50,000 prize playing Powerball, earning the nickname “Olney Winner” after taking her boyfriend’s advice to purchase Maryland Lottery tickets. The Montgomery County player revealed that her boyfriend, who resides in a state without a lottery, urged her to play games in Maryland. heeding his suggestion proved fortunate as she scored big with her Powerball win.
