DELTONA, FL – On Sunday, law enforcement concluded a three-day traffic operation in and around the City of Deltona, Florida with the apprehension of a driver after a high-speed chase and stop stick deployment.
The driver, identified as Kevin Olivo Rivera of Kissimmee, was found to be a convicted felon and was in possession of various illegal substances and weapons. Rivera was charged with multiple offenses, including aggravated fleeing and attempting to elude, armed drug trafficking, and possession of a firearm as a felon.
Over the course of the operation, a significant number of traffic stops were conducted leading to numerous citations, arrests, and vehicle tows.
