QUEENS, NY – A 20-year-old male was assaulted early Sunday morning inside a venue at 210-08 Jamaica Avenue, according to police reports. The incident began around 4:45 AM when a misunderstanding after a minor bump escalated into a heated verbal and physical confrontation involving three additional unknown males.
The altercation turned severe as the suspects reportedly kicked, punched, and stabbed the victim with a broken bottle in multiple areas including his left abdomen, left arm, and right wrist. The injuries resulted in lacerations and bleeding. The victim was subsequently transported to Mercy Hospital by private means and is currently in stable condition.
The suspects, described by witnesses, fled the scene in a dark-colored Honda sedan heading east on Jamaica Avenue. The first suspect is reported to have a medium complexion and was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, black durag, and dark pants. The second suspect, with a dark complexion, was seen in a black hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and white and black sneakers. The third, a light-complexioned male, wore a black baseball cap, prescription eyeglasses, a green shirt, and ripped jeans. Authorities are actively searching for these individuals and encourage anyone with information to come forward.
