WASHINGTON, DC – A suspect has been apprehended in connection with an attempted bank robbery in Northwest Washington.
The incident unfolded on Friday, April 5, when a suspect demanded money from a bank teller through a note at a bank located on the 400 block of North Capitol Street, Northwest, at approximately 9:26 a.m. The individual fled the scene without securing any funds.
Following an investigation, 62-year-old Bruce Alan Smith of Northeast, DC, was arrested on Saturday, April 6. Smith faces charges of Attempted Bank Robbery.
