WASHINGTON, D.C. – A breakthrough has occurred in the case of a woman’s mysterious disappearance last year in Southwest D.C., leading to an arrest. The missing person, identified as 25-year-old Chyna Crawford, was last observed in October, sparking a rigorous investigation by the D.C. Metro Police Department.

Chyna Crawford was reported missing on October 26, 2023, after last being seen near the 4000 block of South Capitol Street, Southwest, on the evening of October 23. The case, initially handled by the Missing Persons Unit, raised suspicions early on, prompting a deeper inquiry by the Homicide Branch due to the peculiar nature of Crawford’s disappearance.
