Wilmington 7-Eleven Robbed at Gunpoint

WILMINGTON, DE – The Delaware State Police are actively investigating an armed robbery that took place at a local 7-Eleven store last evening. The incident occurred shortly before 7 p.m. at the convenience store located at 298 South Maryland Avenue.

Authorities reported that an unidentified male suspect brandished a handgun at store employees and demanded money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled the scene heading east on Maryland Avenue. Despite a thorough search, law enforcement officials were unable to apprehend the individual.

The suspect has been described as a black male, seen wearing dark clothing and a mask during the robbery. At this moment, no surveillance footage or images have been made available to aid in the suspect’s identification.
