Teenager Killed and Young Girl Injured at Bay Shore Party Shooting

BAY SHORE, NY – A tragic shooting incident occurred during an outdoor party on the night of Friday, March 22, in Bay Shore, resulting in the death of a teenage boy and injuries to a young girl. Suffolk County Police were summoned to the scene at 1320 Ackerson Blvd. around 9 p.m., following a 911 call reporting a shooting.

Upon arrival, authorities discovered 19-year-old Sean Mills and a 17-year-old girl suffering from gunshot wounds amidst a gathering of approximately 50 people. Mills, a resident of Bay Shore, was swiftly taken to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The girl was also transported to a hospital, where she is currently receiving treatment for injuries deemed non-life-threatening.
