PASADENA, MD—A significant breakthrough in an armed robbery case has led to the arrest of three adults and a juvenile, announced by detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division, Regional Crimes Unit. The arrests stem from an incident that occurred on February 25 at the Tobacco Stop located at 32 Mountain Road in Pasadena.
During the robbery, two male suspects entered the store around 8:30 p.m., coercing an employee to retrieve products from a display case. Subsequently, one suspect brandished a knife, threatening the employee before seizing the merchandise and fleeing. In a pursuit that followed, the suspects accidentally dropped a set of keys, which the employee managed to recover. However, a different pair, a male and a female, later entered the store demanding the keys back from the employee, during which the employee was assaulted.
Arrested on February 28 were:
- Cordell Curtis Howard, an 18-year-old from Brooklyn, Maryland
- Jordan Paul Bender, also 18, from Pasadena, Maryland
- Alana Marie Koellner, 19, of Glen Burnie, Maryland
Additionally, a 15-year-old male from Glen Burnie was charged on March 5 and released to a guardian. The vehicle implicated in the robbery, a silver 2007 Mazda, has been seized as evidence. The swift action by law enforcement underscores their commitment to addressing and solving violent crimes in the community.
