Washington, D.C. – The D.C. Metro Police Department has made public surveillance footage of a suspect implicated in a recent homicide in Northwest D.C. The release aims to aid in the capture of the individual responsible for the death of Jeremy Dewayne Johnson, a 32-year-old man from Southeast D.C.
The incident occurred in the early hours of February 12, around 2:41 a.m., when police were called to the 900 block of Shepherd Street, Northwest, following reports of gunshots. Upon arrival, officers discovered Johnson with fatal gunshot wounds.

Authorities have turned to the community for assistance, sharing video footage of the suspect captured on nearby surveillance cameras.
