Wilmington, DE – Delaware State Police have arrested Clarissa Sierra, 39, of Wilmington, in connection with a fatal stabbing that occurred in the early hours of February 28.
Responding to a 911 call at approximately 12:54 a.m., troopers were dispatched to the intersection of Maryland Avenue and Clayton Road. Sierra, who reported her involvement in a physical altercation that led to the stabbing, was found at the scene alongside the adult male victim, who suffered a fatal stab wound to the chest. The victim was rushed to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The victim’s identity has not been released pending family notification.
Sierra was arrested without incident and found in possession of a knife. She was charged and arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, following which she was committed to the Department of Corrections with a cash bond set at $1,065,000.
