Linthicum Heights, MD – A commercial burglary and subsequent auto theft at Caliber Collision in Linthicum led to a Halethorpe man’s arrest. Anne Arundel County Police Department’s Regional Crimes Unit launched an investigation into the incident that took place on February 10th after surveillance footage captured two suspects engaging in vehicle tampering and theft at the 4995 Fairview Avenue location. A burgundy 2013 Honda Accord was stolen from the premises.
Baltimore City Police located the stolen Honda on February 16th and apprehended 19-year-old Edward Tyrone Fields Jr., identifying him as one of the individuals involved in the Linthicum burglary and theft. Fields is currently being held in custody in Baltimore City, where he faces charges related to the burglary and auto theft, confirmed through coordination between Baltimore City Police and Anne Arundel County detectives, along with evidence from the crime scene.
This arrest underscores the effectiveness of inter-departmental cooperation and the importance of surveillance in solving crimes.
