A man wanted for murder in Blair County was critically injured after jumping from the second floor of a parking garage at Pittsburgh International Airport.

Allegheny County Police have successfully apprehended a suspect connected to a Blair County homicide following an incident at Pittsburgh International Airport. On the morning of February 14, police were called to the airport’s parking garage after receiving reports of a man who had jumped from the second-floor structure. Although initially unable to locate him, authorities were later directed to a male seeking medical help in a stairwell within the garage.

The individual, suffering from serious injuries, was identified as 30-year-old Joshua Leyo of Altoona and was promptly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The arrest came after the Altoona Police Department reached out to Allegheny County Police for assistance in locating Leyo, linking him to a homicide that occurred earlier that day. Altoona Police had reasons to believe Leyo was at Pittsburgh International Airport, leading to his capture.
