Philadelphia, PA – The Central Detective Division of the Philadelphia Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying suspects involved in a recent aggravated assault incident.
On January 27, at around 1:05 AM, an alarming confrontation occurred in the 500 block of North 17th Street. A complainant reported being abruptly cut off by another vehicle. The car came to a halt at the end of the block, and four individuals exited the vehicle, with at least one suspect brandishing a firearm. The armed suspects advanced towards the complainant, who managed to escape by reversing and then driving forward, evading the assailants.
Crucial evidence in the investigation has been obtained from the complainant’s dashcam footage, which captured the suspects using a stolen car to intercept and corner the victim. Additionally, prior to the incident, the suspects were documented on surveillance footage aboard the Septa Market Street Line.
Authorities are urging anyone with information on the identities of these individuals to come forward to aid in the ongoing investigation.
