Baltimore, MD – A 72-year-old man is recovering after he was shot multiple times in Eastern Baltimore early yesterday morning.
In the early hours yesterday, Baltimore Police were called to the 2900 block of Erdman Avenue in response to a ShotSpotter alert. Officers discovered a 72-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds deemed non-life-threatening upon their arrival at the scene around 1:50 a.m.
The victim was promptly transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries. Eastern District Shooting detectives have taken charge of the investigation, seeking to uncover the circumstances that led to the shooting.
The Baltimore Police Department is appealing to the community for any information related to the incident.
