Fatal Police-Involved Shooting in Carlisle

CARLISLE, PA – A police-involved shooting on Saturday afternoon in Carlisle resulted in the death of Nathaniel Law Liberator, a 33-year-old resident of Carlisle.

The incident occurred in the 300 block of C Street at around 1:59 p.m., following a dispatch to a disturbance at 1:50 p.m.

During the investigation, an altercation ensued, leading a Carlisle Borough Police officer to discharge a firearm.

Liberator was pronounced dead at the scene. The State Police are conducting an investigation into the incident.
