Man Assaulted and Robbed on Astoria Boulevard

NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department is calling for public assistance in locating a suspect involved in a robbery. The incident took place on Thursday, around 7:45 am near 82-20 Astoria Boulevard.

An unidentified male, described as having a dark complexion and around 25 years old, reportedly approached a 24-year-old male victim.

The suspect threw a piece of asphalt at the victim, then proceeded to punch and kick him multiple times, causing minor injuries. The victim’s phone, debit card, and wallet were forcibly taken by the assailant, who then fled the scene on foot.

The victim was transported by EMS to NYC Health and Hospitals in stable condition. The NYPD has provided media related to the incident at DCPI for public reference.
