NYPD Seeks Public’s Help in Subway Groping Case

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department requests public assistance to locate an individual involved in a forcible touching incident.

On Tuesday, January 2, around 4:55 am, a 25-year-old female was approached by an unknown individual at the Beach 44 Street and Rockaway Freeway subway station.

The individual grabbed her buttocks and then fled the scene. The victim reported no physical injuries from the incident.

The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion and medium build. He was last seen wearing a dark green vest, dark-colored pants, black shoes, and a black head covering.

The NYPD encourages anyone with information about this incident to contact the Crime Stoppers Hotline or submit tips online.
