NEW YORK CITY, NY – A 75-year-old man became a victim of assault on December 29, 2023, at around 3:45 pm at 1623 Avenue Y.
The New York City Police Department reports that an unidentified female, following a verbal dispute, struck the elderly man on the hand with a cellphone and fled the scene.
The suspect, described as approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall with a light complexion, was last seen wearing a green jacket, black pants, and white sneakers.
The incident resulted in minor injuries to the victim, who refused medical attention.
The NYPD is seeking public assistance in identifying the assailant.
