CHICAGO, IL — December 24, 2023, marked a festive celebration for two Illinois Lottery players, each winning $1 million from the new $10 Million Instant Ticket game. This game, launched in December, is the Illinois Lottery’s first $50 scratch-off offering.
One of the $1 million prizes was claimed with a ticket purchased at Oak Park Gas Mart, situated at 6129 W. North Ave. in Oak Park. The other winning ticket was bought at Speedway, located at 314 S. State St. in Lockport.
The Illinois Lottery advises winners to sign the back of their tickets and store them securely until they are ready to claim their prizes.
The $10 Million game presents an opportunity to win a share of over $330 million in total cash prizes. Prizes range from $100 to the grand prize of $10 million. The game features three top prizes of $10 million, 15 $1 million prizes, and offers the best odds of winning $500 compared to any current scratch-off in the state.
