Jersey City Teen Arrested for Deadly Shooting of 18-Year-Old

JERSEY CITY, NJ – According to Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez, a 17-year-old male from Jersey City has been charged in relation to the fatal shooting of an 18-year-old male. The incident took place in Jersey City on December 18.

The juvenile faces charges of Aggravated Manslaughter, a first-degree crime; Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, both second-degree crimes. Due to the age of the accused, details regarding the case remain confidential.

The victim, Angel Regalado Guzman, 18, also from Jersey City, was brought to the Jersey City Medical Center on December 18 with a gunshot wound to the upper body. He was declared deceased before 4 p.m. the same day. Further information on the case is withheld due to juvenile privacy laws.
