WASHINGTON, DC – The Metropolitan Police Department is on the hunt for suspects involved in a recent shooting that occurred in Northeast Washington, D.C.
The incident took place on Monday, December 18th, around 6:54 p.m. Police were called to the intersection of 49th Street and Hennie Helen Burroughs Avenue following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, officers found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim stated he was assaulted and shot by two individuals in the 4400 block of Hunt Place.
Surveillance cameras in the area captured images of the suspects, aiding in the investigation.
