CUMBERLAND CITY, MD – Yesterday, Cumberland City Police responded to a hit-and-run crash on Howard St. The victim reported a black Nissan rear-ended their vehicle at a red light on Queen City Drive, which then fled the scene. The victim followed the Nissan to Howard St, where it struck a pole and stopped.

Officers contacted the Nissan’s occupants, including driver Kelsey Lynn Law, 25, of LaVale, MD. Law was suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol, arrested, and issued multiple traffic citations. She was later released pending trial in District Court.

The passenger, Natalya Nicole White, 19, of Corriganville, MD, had an active arrest warrant from a previous incident on November 24, 2023. In that incident, White, under the influence of alcohol and driving a stolen vehicle, caused a head-on crash. She provided a false identity using a stolen driver’s license. The initial charges were recalled, and an arrest warrant was issued under her real name.

Yesterday, White was found concealing suspected alprazolam tablets and was arrested. She faces charges from the November 24 incident and new charges, including CDS possession and possessing contraband in a place of confinement. She was released on a total of $12,500 in unsecured personal bonds.
