GETTYSBURG, PA – The York County Sheriff’s Office apprehended William Sanchez-Triu on Wednesday, on multiple charges including child rape and aggravated indecent assault.
The arrest warrant, issued by Honorable Matthew R. Harvey of the Gettysburg Police Department, stems from a complaint received in August regarding a child sexual assault that occurred approximately five years earlier in Gettysburg.
Sanchez-Triu, believed to reside in York, Pennsylvania, faces charges including rape of a child, aggravated indecent assault under the age of 13, statutory sexual assault, and corruption of minors.
The lengthy investigation was conducted by the Gettysburg Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division.
