FORKED RIVER, NJ — Snowie, a 1½-year-old rabbit, is looking for a new, stress-free home. She was surrendered to the Associated Humane Popcorn Park Shelter in Forked River, New Jersey, after her family moved. Snowie’s past experiences have left her very nervous, especially when on the floor and exposed.
Shelter staff believe Snowie was well-loved and frequently held by her previous family, as she shows comfort and ease when cuddled and held. Despite her nervousness, Snowie is described as a sweet and innocent rabbit who enjoys human affection.
The ideal home for Snowie would be one where she can feel secure and safe, without the risk of being chased or stressed. She is litter box trained and could possibly adapt to living with another friendly bunny.
Those interested in providing Snowie with a loving home can contact the shelter at 609-693-1900 or email office@ahsppz.org for an application. The shelter is hopeful to find Snowie a calm and nurturing environment where she can thrive.
