Arrest Made in Murder of 36-Year-Old Man in the Bronx

BRONX, NY – An arrest has been made in connection with a homicide that occurred in May in New York City. Arthur Hines, a 36-year-old male from Bronx, was taken into custody on Sunday, December 10, at approximately 8:30 a.m., and charged with murder.

The victim, identified as Isaiah Brown, a 26-year-old male from New York, was found shot on May 17. The incident occurred at 232 East 116 Street, under the jurisdiction of the 25th Precinct. Police responded to a 911 call around 1:49 a.m. and discovered Brown with a chest gunshot wound. He was transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Harlem, where he was pronounced dead.

At the time of the incident, no arrests were made, and the investigation continued.

With the recent arrest of Hines, police are moving to close the case and proceed into the next phase of the legal process against him.
