GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ – The Gloucester Township Police Department is currently investigating a motor vehicle crash that occurred on Sunday, December 3, 2023. The incident took place at approximately 1:35 pm at the intersection of Sicklerville Road and Dickenson Drive.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 2009 Toyota Yaris that had veered off the road and collided with a utility pole. The vehicle was solely occupied by the driver, with no passengers reported.
Emergency responders, including police, fire, and medical personnel, attended to the driver at the scene. The driver was subsequently transported to a local hospital to receive treatment for bodily injuries sustained in the crash.
Sicklerville Road remained open to traffic while members of the Gloucester Township Police Serious Crash Investigation Team (SCIT) processed the scene and began their initial investigation. As of now, no charges have been filed in connection with the incident.
The driver’s identity is being withheld pending further investigation and necessary notifications. The Gloucester Township Police Department is conducting a thorough investigation into the crash and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
