Allegheny County Police Arrest Suspect in Homicide

ALLEGHENY COUNTY, PA – The Allegheny County Police have arrested Arrmon Hagans, 43, from Wilkinsburg, in connection with a homicide that occurred in Stowe Township.

The incident took place at 5:28 pm on November 22nd in the 800 block of Benwood Avenue. Upon arrival, first responders found a 26-year-old male, later identified as Michael Dean, shot in his residence. Dean was pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation by the Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit, including the recovery of security camera footage, revealed three suspects attempting to force entry into Dean’s home. One suspect was seen firing a shot through the front door before all three fled in a vehicle.

Hagans was identified as the driver of the getaway vehicle and one of the suspects on the surveillance video. He was located and arrested in a hotel in North Fayette Township on November 30.

Hagans is now facing multiple charges, including criminal homicide, and is being held in the Allegheny County Jail pending his preliminary arraignment.
