BROOKLYN, NY — A violent altercation on a Brooklyn bus led to a senior citizen being hospitalized on Wednesday. The incident, involving a 60-year-old man, occurred on a northbound B12 bus at around noon.
According to police reports, the victim engaged in a dispute with an unidentified male and female while on the bus. The altercation escalated when the male assailant hit the victim in the head with his hand.
The situation worsened after the parties exited the bus at Fulton Street and Alabama Avenue. The female companion of the assailant stabbed the victim three times in the back with a knife, and the male suspect used the victim’s cane to strike him on the head.

Following the assault, the assailants fled the scene on foot, heading westbound on Fulton Street. Emergency services responded swiftly, and the victim was transported to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center. He was reported to be in stable condition.
