Shooting on Langston Boulevard Under Investigation by Arlington County Police

ARLINGTON, VA – A shooting incident on the evening of Sunday, is currently under investigation by the Arlington County Police Department’s Homicide/Robbery Unit.

The police were called to the 3100 block of Langston Boulevard at about 7:42 p.m. following reports of an assault with a weapon. At the scene, a male victim was found in the passenger seat of a parked vehicle, suffering from gunshot wounds. The officers provided immediate medical assistance before the victim was taken to a hospital, where he remains in stable condition.

The initial investigation reveals that the victim and a witness were in a vehicle on Richmond Highway when a black sedan with two occupants, a Black female driver with shoulder-length hair and a Black male passenger wearing a face mask, engaged in a verbal dispute with them.

Near Richmond Highway and Memorial Avenue, a person from the sedan brandished a firearm and fired shots, injuring the victim. After the shooting, the victim’s vehicle moved to Langston Boulevard for help.

The Arlington County Police Department is seeking information related to the black sedan and its occupants involved in the incident.
