Man Choked and Robbed on 92nd Street

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying individuals linked to a robbery.

On Tuesday, November 7, at approximately 4:36 a.m., a 39-year-old male victim was near 92nd Street and Roosevelt Avenue when two unidentified males approached him from behind.

One of the males placed the victim in a chokehold, dragged him to the ground, and forcibly took the victim’s cellphone and wallet. The suspects then fled on foot northbound toward 37th Avenue. No injuries were reported.

The sought individuals are described as males with medium complexions. The first individual was last seen wearing a black beanie, black jacket, black pants, and gray sneakers.

The second individual was last seen wearing a multicolored sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black boots.
