Bensalem Kidnapping and Robbery Suspect Arrested

BENSALEM, PA – A kidnapping and robbery case recently saw progress with the arrest of a key suspect. Dikenson Joshua Noel, 25, from Philadelphia, was apprehended in connection to the incident that began around 9:00 pm on October 23.

The Bensalem Police were alerted to the crime when a robbery victim, a delivery truck driver, was forcibly removed from his vehicle on Byberry Road by two unidentified males.

The assailants, one armed with a handgun, coerced the victim into their vehicle after failing to find cash with him. The victim was blindfolded and taken to several ATMs for cash withdrawals from his account. The ordeal lasted several hours, after which the victim was abandoned near Street Road and Hulmeville Road.

Bensalem Township Police Detectives launched an investigation that led to the identification of the suspect’s vehicle. With cooperation from the Palmyra Borough (NJ) Police Department, Noel was arrested during a traffic stop on October 26. Further investigation confirmed Noel as one of the perpetrators.

On Wednesday, Noel faced multiple charges, including kidnapping and robbery, and was arraigned with bail set at $2,000,000. The Bensalem Detectives continue their efforts to identify other accomplices. The public is asked to provide any relevant information to Detective Aaron Woelkers at (215) 633-3658 or through anonymous tips on the Crimewatch page.
