Hillsdale Woman’s Death Leads to Son’s Arrest for Murder

PORTLAND, OR – Austin H. Graham, 27, of Portland, has been arrested and charged with Second Degree Murder-Domestic Violence following the death of his mother, Teresa A. Graham, 59, in the Hillsdale neighborhood.

Officers from the Central Precinct responded to a death investigation call on October 20, 2023, at a residence on Southwest Menefee Drive. Initially, there were no indications of foul play. However, an autopsy conducted by the Multnomah County Medical Examiner revealed suspicious circumstances.

Portland Police Homicide Unit detectives launched a further investigation into Teresa Graham’s death. This led to the arrest of her son, Austin Graham, on November 8. He is currently held at the Multnomah County Detention Center.
