BRONX, NY – Police are investigating a robbery that occurred on the southbound platform of the Jerome Avenue subway station near West Mount Eden Avenue. The incident, which took place on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at around 10:05 p.m., involved the theft of a cellphone and wallet from a 43-year-old male victim.

As reported, the victim was waiting for a “4” train when he was approached by two unidentified individuals. The assailants, described as males with dark complexions, slim builds, and aged between 18 and 25, forcibly took the victim’s cellphone and wallet. The wallet contained debit cards, personal items, and $700 in cash. Following the robbery, the suspects fled the scene to an unknown location.

Fortunately, there were no injuries reported in connection with the incident. The police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the suspects involved in this crime.
