Fatal Shooting in Utica: Police Seek Witnesses

UTICA, NY – A man died from a gunshot wound to his abdomen on November 11th after Utica Police and Fire personnel responded to a shooting at 703 Varick St around 11:55 PM.

Officers found the victim at the scene. He received immediate medical attention and was transported to Wynn Hospital. Despite efforts to save him, he passed away.

The police reported that numerous witnesses were present during the shooting. They urge anyone with information to contact the Utica Police Department Major Crimes Unit at 315-223-3556. The investigation remains active.
