Although it did not win initially, he continued using the horse number combination from that ticket, which proved to be a winning strategy. His successful Superfecta combination was 12, 11, 8, and 2.
He discovered his win hours after purchasing the 20-draw ticket from Sheetz #713 in Hagerstown, using a Lottery app to check the results. Realization of the prize’s magnitude came later, at another Lottery retailer. The winner maintained a calm demeanor upon learning about his win, planning a private celebration later.
Sheetz #713, the retailer that sold the winning ticket, will receive a $1,015 bonus. The Racetrax enthusiast plans to save his winnings for future needs and to assist family members.
