BROOKLYN, NY — The New York City Police Department has issued an alert seeking public assistance in locating a four-year-old boy and his mother involved in a custodial interference case stemming from a North Carolina court order violation.
Taiden Baker, the child, was taken by Jozlynn Parker, a 28-year-old female, who is identified as the mother. The incident began on October 21, when Parker visited Baker in North Carolina and fled with him.
The two were last seen together on November 1, around 11:00 AM, near 338 Chester Street in the area of the 73rd Precinct.
The NYPD has described Taiden as a male with brown eyes and long black hair, standing 3 feet tall and weighing about 35 pounds. The Department of Criminal Information and Public Inquiry (DCPI) has made media available showing both the missing child and Parker.
Authorities urge anyone with information to contact the NYPD.
The emphasis is on the timely and safe return of the young child to lawful custodians as detectives continue to work on the case. Further details will be provided as the search progresses.
