SUITLAND, MD – The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit has charged Eric Anthony King, a 25-year-old with no fixed address, in a domestic-related stabbing. The victim, 33-year-old Diamond Abney of Suitland, was reportedly in a previous relationship with the accused.
On Monday, at 11:50 am, officers found Abney in a Curtis Drive apartment, critically injured from stab wounds. She succumbed to her injuries shortly after at a medical facility.
King, after allegedly committing the crime, fled but was apprehended without resistance in a Dumfries, Virginia, motel with assistance from the Prince William County Police Department.
Currently, King faces multiple charges, including first and second-degree murder. He awaits extradition to Prince George’s County.
