BALTIMORE, MD — A 74-year-old man from Glen Burnie secured a $121,527 progressive jackpot on October 18 with a $10 ticket in the Wild Bonus X10 game, a part of the Maryland Lottery’s FAST PLAY lineup. The winner, an Anne Arundel County resident, claimed his prize at the Maryland Lottery headquarters on October 23.

The retiree, a long-time player of FAST PLAY games, stated that the convenience of immediate results appeals to him. “You know if you’re a winner right away,” he said. This marks his largest win, although he has collected smaller prizes in the past and has a brother who once won $30,000 on a scratch-off.

The win comes as the man is changing homes, providing him with more options for an upgrade. His primary focus is to use the funds for immediate lifestyle improvements, including purchasing a replacement vehicle.

The Royal Farms #067 store, located at 7201 Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard in Glen Burnie, will receive a $1,000 bonus from the Lottery for selling the jackpot-winning ticket. The Wild Bonus X10 game, which joined the FAST PLAY series in July, has now claimed its second progressive jackpot.
