NYPD Seeks Public Help to Locate Two Missing Teens in Separate Cases

NEW YORK, NY – Two teenage girls are reported missing in unrelated incidents, according to the New York City Police Department.

Maria Fernandez Missing from Queens

Maria Fernandez, a 15-year-old Hispanic female, was reported missing on Friday, October 20. She resides at 82-85 Parsons Boulevard in Queens, within the jurisdiction of the 107 Precinct. Maria Fernandez was last seen at about 5 p.m. leaving her residence. She is 5’2″ tall, weighs 110 pounds, and has a light complexion, thin build, black hair, and brown eyes. She was wearing a black shirt and black pants at the time of her disappearance.

Samara Fernandez Missing from Bronx

Samara Fernandez, a 16-year-old Hispanic female, was last seen on Monday, October 16, at around 6 p.m. She was at her grandmother’s residence, located at 2204 Amsterdam Avenue in New York, within the confines of the 33 Precinct. Samara resides at 3470 Cannon Place in the Bronx, within the jurisdiction of the 5 Precinct. She is described as 5’0″ tall, weighs 100 pounds, and has a medium complexion, thin build, brown hair, and brown eyes. She was wearing a black jacket and black jeans when last seen.

The New York City Police Department is urging the public to assist in locating both individuals. Anyone with information is asked to contact the NYPD.
