District Heights – A Powerball Double Play ticket worth $50,000 was sold at Best 1 Food Mart in Prince George’s County. Although the jackpot went unclaimed, Maryland had 8,776 winning tickets from the Oct. 18 regular Powerball drawing and 1,289 Double Play winners.

The winning ticket matched Double Play numbers 26, 59, 62, 64, and 65 with a Powerball of 15. This is the 10th Double Play third-tier winning ticket sold in Maryland this year.

Winners have 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize and are advised to sign the back of their ticket for security. Prizes larger than $25,000 must be redeemed at Lottery headquarters in Baltimore.

Double Play is an additional $1 feature that allows players to participate in a second drawing 30 minutes after the main Powerball drawing. The current Powerball jackpot has rolled over to an estimated $70 million for the Oct. 21 drawing.
