NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is requesting the public’s help in identifying an individual linked to a robbery. The incident in question happened on Tuesday, October 10, around 11:30 pm.
A 63-year-old female was leaving the subway at Fulton Street and Greene Ave on the “C” train line when an unidentified male forcefully took her wallet and cellphone.
The suspect then pushed the woman to the ground and made his escape by running down to Lafayette Station.
The woman sustained abrasions on both her hands but declined any medical treatment at the time. The male suspect is described as having a medium complexion, standing between 5′ 8″ to 6′ tall, weighing around 190 pounds.
He was last spotted wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and white sneakers. The public is asked to come forward with any relevant information.
