New York City, NY – The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 90-year-old man who resides in the Bronx. Xiu Yang was last seen on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at approximately 11:30 a.m., leaving his residence at 190 Lincoln Avenue.
Yang is described as an Asian male, standing 5 feet tall and weighing around 100 pounds. He has blue eyes and gray hair. At the time of his disappearance, he was dressed in a black jacket, gray pants, and red shoes.
According to the police report, Yang was last seen walking near Grand Street, within the jurisdiction of the NYPD’s 5th Precinct. The initial report was filed within the confines of the 40th Precinct.
In a statement, the NYPD said, “It was reported to police that the missing was last seen on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at approximately 1130 hours, leaving his residence located at 190 Lincoln Avenue.”
The NYPD is urging anyone with information regarding Yang’s whereabouts to come forward. As the search intensifies, officials are appealing to the community for any leads that could assist in safely locating him. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
