23-Year-Old Arrested in Connection with Chesapeake Shooting

CHESAPEAKE, VA – Kelvin Harris, 23, is in custody following the fatal shooting of 19-year-old Mika Satterfield in Chesapeake.

The incident occurred last Wednesday evening when officers were alerted to gunshots near an apartment complex on the 1300 block of Canal Drive. Upon arrival, they found Satterfield with gunshot wounds.

Satterfield was quickly transported to a hospital due to life-threatening injuries but was later pronounced dead.

Harris now faces three felony charges, including second-degree murder.
